GUNN Cut Pattern is recognized by the seam at the base of the two middle fingers. Seamless back, but finger seams are to the back of the fingers for comfort. WING thumb is designed for open handed work (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.). Work accomplished by the open palm does not expose the seams to wear. This style allows more freedom of movement and is in general more comfortable than the straight thumb.
