This Majestic 1510W glove is constructed from premium top grain A-grade cowhide leather, has a wing thumb which means the thumb is designed for open handed work (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) – work accomplished by the open palm does not expose the seams to wear. This style allows more freedom of movement and is in general more comfortable than the straight thumb. The glove is also constructed using the gunn cut resulting in a glove that is seamless on back. The palm side of the middle two fingers is a separate glove pattern and is sewn to the palm at the base of the middle two fingers. In full leather and leather palm styles, the seam is reinforced with a welt that gives additional resistance to wear in this critical area increasing the gloves’ durability and wear life. The benefits of this gunn construction is that the seam in the natural hand crease allows flexibility and the seamless back increases comfort. Additional features of this glove include a color-coded bias tape sewn hem for sizing identification, Kevlar sewn providing a higher protection from injuries and improves the durability of the glove, and a shirred back.
